Dave and his dad are building me a kitchen table. Tom found me this 3 inch thick solid piece of birch wood . It was 14 feet long cut from 1 tree.
The solid table top. Still needs legs, sanding, staining. I am excited to see how it turns out.

Look like you guys had a great time! We love the Boise Zoo, too. Last time we were there we did the paddleboats in the park by the zoo and they were a blast, too.
I'm excited that you finally get your table. Handmade by Davy and Tom will mean more anyway! Can't wait to see what it looks like in your kitchen!
