New Kid Pictures

When Dan and Becki were visiting she surprised me with some pictures of the kids. She is a very talented photographer. She also taught me a few photoshop tips which actually stuck in my brain. Maybe the third time is a charm.

Eva's Dance Recital

Eva took dance at Clytie Adams this year. She was able to be in class with her good friend Avery. They went together then had a playdate afterward all year. For both of them that was the best part.

She dance to A Little Mermaid song and was a leapord fish. It was a really crazy week because my house was all packed up and we were staying at my mom and dads. I should have never tried that. The baby cried most of the drive everytime we came back and forth. She had 2 practice days and 2 recital days. It was wild.

Eva and Halle they ran down to show each other their recital costumes. Halle was in the Elf and the Shoe Maker performance.

Kanigans Visit

We had the pleasure of a visit from the Kanigans before we moved to Tahoe. Logan and Leah and the rest of the kids got along so good. It is like they never moved. I am sad we haven't been able to live in the same place close to them. It was a wonderful couple of days hanging out together.

We took them up to Mueller Park for a campfire and some climbing on the kids favorite rock.

Our next adventure was to This is the Place Park. I always get lots of fun pictures there so here yah go.

A Few Things I Missed

Leah had Little House on the Prairie Day at school. I couldn't get over how cute she was in this getup that we borrowed from the Carmacks.

On the day of the inspection at my house it rained so hard that the backyard totally turned into a lake. Seriously the worst I had seen it since we bought the house 4 years prior. It figures that would happen. The new buyers weren't too concerned so after they left we decided to have some fun.

This was Ronan's it is better late than never birthday party. He really was a little unlucky with the timing of his birthday this year. So about a month late we grabbed his 3 favorite friends Lauren, Porter, and Cameron and went to Classic Skating.  They had a ball. After we went out for ice cream.

 Here is Ronan and Lauren. He was very much smitten with her. Problem is that she was already liked Porter. Ronan asked her, "do you like Porter because he is your friend or because he is handsome?" She answered, "because he is handsome." "Well I am more handsome than Porter," he responded.

Big Goodbye Party

 We had a big ice cream party for the kids to say goodbye to all their friends. As our weeks were dwindling I realized they wouldn't have time to have a play date with everyone. So very last minute we delivered invited and had the party the next day. Here is Leah and Lauren

 Halle & Eva. Halle and Eva played together nearly everyday. And there is just no replacing that. I wish we could have taken her with us.
