Kids They Say the Darndest Things

First of all sorry for the no posts for awhile. Reason being there has been nothing good to post. I feel like I have spun into a deep hole called January. Where the weather stinks and then we try and do all our New Years resolutions. January should be the month to start more bad habits not get rid of the ones you like. All the kids all had croup. We were home from everything for 2 weeks. I nearly lost my mind. But now we are back to the land of the living and feeling much better. I just really need a vacation somewhere with sun and a beach.

So moving on. Driving home from school the other day I overhead the funniest conversation. We car pool and had neighbor A. who is very sensitive. Leah asks, "who here like Barbies." Neighbor A responds, "I do." Leah says, " I don't I am a bobby boy (her way of saying a tom boy). I am a lot like my mom she was a bobby boy not a girly girl when she was little." Neighbor adds in, " I am a lot like my dad." Eva chirps in, "You mean your dad is a girly girl." We all are in stitches laughing while poor neighbor A is in tears in the back seat. I try to compose myself to not hurt her feelings. But then Ronan continues with his Simpson laugh ahhhhaaa haaa. And I just give in to the giggles.

Update from the Halls of Terror

Please read my previous post if you haven't. Then let me tell you that we went to bed only to find poop wiped on both Dave and I pillow cases. Good thing we looked before we settled down for a long winters nap.

Ronan MIGHT be a Terrorist

Can I even say that on a blog. Probably when I am referring to a 2 1/2 year old. Let me set the scene up for the day. Trying to clean up from a trip and Christmas. From the cleaning downstairs I smell something poopy. Humm I better check Ronan who is potty trained and much to independent for his own good. Sure enough. Bathroom is covered in half a roll of toilet paper and poop smeared on the floor. Where is the child who did this? On my bed still covered in the stuff. I drag him like a roped calf into the bathroom and wipe him down. Then this evening kitchen is looking pretty good until after dinner when I have to go run an errand. Come back to water and yogurt all over my newly moped floor. Do you know how hard it is to clean up dried yogurt. After a wipe down and a mop it is still murky on my floor. Then just 10 minutes after the yogurt there is a minor incident of butter wiped all over the counter. And to top it all off it is 9:47 at night and the terrorist doesn't rest. He spends his time trying to keep his sister from going to sleep. All I can say is there is a cute and charming boy for sale at my house.
