Do you all remember the Forgotten Carols song. "I Cry The Day That I Take the Tree Down..." I really almost did yesterday. Even though the tree was up way to long I still miss it. We had the best holiday together as a family. Davy had nearly 2 weeks off from work. We did so many fun things and enjoyed our time together.
We took the kids on a date to Tepanyaki. They were totally amazed and actually ate the food too. Then we went to Layton City's Christmas lights in the park.
Cute kids in there matching Christmas jammie's.
Dave reading the traditional "Night Before Christmas," story. We left our food for the reindeer and cookies for Santa. Then heard the bells of Santa's sleigh and the children were sent running off to their rooms.
Christmas morning Eva tried to wake up at 2:00 am but was sent back to bed until 6:30 when the rest of the family woke up. Santa stuffed every ones stockings and left a special present for each kid.
Ronan loved each and every present. Santa brought him some batman figures and a batman car. His other favorite presents were his pogo stick, batman wii game, magnetic dart board, snow tube, and sleeping bag.
As a tradition we love having Grandma Flo down for Christmas Eve and morning. It is so fun have her and Sassy join us.
I love this shot of Eva opening her itouch. It is loaded with all her favorite games and music she loves it. Her other favorite presents were her pillow pet, bathrobe, zoobles, and necklace.
Leah was totally surprised with her Kodak Play and Sport video camera. She pretended to faint backward when she realized what it was. She also loved her bathrobe, ds games, and wii games.

When we were through with our Christmas morning festivities we headed up to Nana and Papa's house. We were thrilled because Karla was there this year with her kids. It is like Christmas number 2 thanks to Nana Clause. I even had a huge surprise with a small Canon Powershot camera. My mom and sister totally surprised me with that one because I thought I wasn't getting anything. And I should say that Dave got me the best present ever. A new washer and dryer that has seriously changed my life. And I am not being dramatic. I went from taking 2 days to get our laundry done to about 6 hours. The dryer dries a load in 30 minutes. And it sings a song to me when it is done with a load. Dave got an ipad for his combo birthday and Christmas which he is loving. All and all it was a wonderful holiday season and I am sad to see it go.
